I have never understood the notion of quail hunting. They're like pets. Why not go cat hunting? Can you really eat them?? Ewww. We didn't get quail for the first two years here, and now we just stand in the window and watch them. {typed with a cat on my lap}

Cat hunting? - having just seen what a set of claws can do to a carpet, I could be tempted :)
