I've been looking for a camera option for the GC trip next summer. I expect bringing the big SLR is not a bright option considering the constant soaking.
The AW100 looks like a good possibility. I am very interested in your opinion after you get some cockpit time.

What happened to the old one? Did you wear it out!!
Think of it a bit like spinning wheels - you can get by with just one, but where's the fun in that?

I'm not very astute with all the features of my camera - but I know I want more photo stuff too. Congrats - I know you'll do your new toy proud.
